Hey darlings
We are already halfway through the year, can you believe it? Like, wasn’t it just January yesterday? Time really said, “catch up if you can.” 😂

So let’s do a quick little 6-month recap.
First things first, do you feel like you’ve accomplished most of your goals so far this year? And if the answer is no, that is completely okay. Life is not a race or a competition to see who can do the most the fastest. Honestly, just being here, surviving, working, building, healing, showing up every day? That’s an accomplishment in itself.
Because whew… life has definitely been life’ing for a lot of us lately.
As for me, I have so much to be thankful for. This year I celebrated 15 years of Mimi’s BoutiQ , Like Fifteen whole years! That alone feels surreal to even say out loud.
To everyone who has supported me throughout this journey, whether you’ve shopped with me, shared a post, told a friend, sent encouraging words, or simply followed along, thank you from the bottom of my heart. Every bit of support means more than you know.

This year, I’ve been super locked in and focused on my business. Me and God had a little conversation, actually a super big extra conversation. And let’s just say, I’m no longer playing small. The dreams, the goals, the vision, I fully believe they are going to come to pass.
And honestly? I’m excited for what’s ahead.
The first six months may not have been perfect, but they’ve definitely been meaningful. Growth, lessons, gratitude, focus, faith and all of it matters. And if nobody has told you lately: you still have time. Time to reset, refocus, start over, dream bigger, and work on those goals you’ve been putting off. Don’t get discouraged because someone else seems ahead. Social media will have you thinking everybody has life figured out, and trust me, they don’t 😂

Your journey is your journey. What’s meant for you will happen in the right timing, and God’s timing will always be better than anything we try to rush. So, stay focused, keep putting in the work, keep believing in yourself, and watch everything you’ve been praying for slowly come to fruition.

This article speaks directly to me.
As I reflect on the last six months, I can’t help but smile. The journey hasn’t always been easy, but it has been worth it. A good read, Mimi.
Amen, trust God and forge ahead, and when you feel like you can't, ask him for the strength ❤️
